One man's terror street is another man's freedom fighter street. Israelis are angry because the Palestinians in Ramallah have named a street after an alleged terrorist who fought against Israel's brutal military occupation and oppression, Yahya Aiyash. Of course, Israelis are hypocrites when it comes to terrorism and are the biggest hypocrites of all when defending their own leaders who used terrorism like the arch terrorist of all time Menachem Begin who murdered 100 civilians in cold blood in 1947 at Deir Yassin to make a point. And then there was his terrorist pal  Yitzhak Shamir, another cold blooded terrorist killer, and his disciple Ariel Sharon, another cold blooded terrorist murderer. And all of them have streets named in their honor all over Israel. I guess it is okay when the terrorists are Israeli.

Protests? Protests/ Protests where?

Bias in the Mainstream News media. Oppression by government troops against civilians in Iran is big news and even President Obama speaks out.

But government oppression against Palestinians by Israel's government is ignored. What is and what isn't news? What the biased mainstream American news media decides is and isn't news.

A new survey by the Jerusalem Post shows that only 4 percent of Israelis (give or take a margin of error of 5 percent) believe President Barack Obama is "pro-Israel." Ironically, only 4 percent of Israelis (give or take a margin of error of 5 percent) support genuine peace with the Palestinians.

So what else is new?

Opinions on the edge that others are afraid to express

The International Criminal Court indicted Omar al-Bashir in Sudan for "war crimes" int he face of a chorus of international complaints that he is leading the attacks against non-Arabs in Sudan, but the judges ignored and continue to ignore similar alleged conduct in the Israeli Occupied West bank where Arabs are the victims. Lady Justice is Blind. And it is political, too!

Who started the war in the Gaza Strip? A ceasefire was arranged by Egypt between Hamas and Israel in June 2008. On Nov. 4, 2008, Israel ground forces attacked Palestinians and destroyed tunnels they claimed were being used to prepare for the kidnapping of an Israeli soldier. (No proof, just their press releases, of course.) Nov. 5, Hamas responds and attacks the Israeli outpost where the Israeli assault started. Israel responds with air assault. Israel air assaults continue through Dec. 19 killing 20 Palestinians in t he period. Hamas declares cease-fire, that they had hoped to renew, ended. Dec. 27, 2008, Israel launches massive air strikes against civilian centers in the Gaza Strip killing 390 by this writing, mostly civilians.

Who broke the cease fire and started this conflict?

The mainstream American media is hypocritical when it comes to issues of corruption a nd violence. They will cover Israel's corruption when it could change the government, but they won't cover Israel's government's moral corruption involving the violence and terrorism against Palestinian and Arab civilians.
