Ray Hanania's World Comic StripIllinois State Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias, a former banker and great leader, says that the banks are not to blame for the interest scams by the credit card companies on consumers. The consumers are to blame and must become "more responsible." Giannoulias says he plans to run for U.S. Senate to succeed Roland Burris. And will probably get the financial banking of the credit card companies and the bankers. We like Alexi but we don't agree with him on this issue.

Hypocrisy over Iran and Israel never ends in the "free" American media
Hypocrisy in the mainstream American news media is evident in the just outcry against the arrest and detention of Roxana Saberi by Iran, but more outrageous in the face of the defeaning silence of the mainstream media and US Government and UNITY: "Journalists of Color" in the face of journalists arrested, killed or expelled by Israel's rightwing government or by the US Military in Iraq.

Obama doesn't bow far enough to reject haters in American society. President Obama is helping to restore America's greatness, rejecting the policies of the American conservative fanatics and haters who have dominated this country and pushed our soldiers into unjust wars and demagoguery. In his meeting with Saudi King Abdullah, President Obama did not bow far enough, but in bowing, as ALL American presidents have done with Japanese and the Queen of England, Obama is defining a new America where freedom, justice and principles have been restored. For the fanatics, LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT! And GET OUT. We don't want your kind in the NEW AMERICA.

Suburban elections: Either filled with mudslinging battles or uncontested, waste-of-time re-elections of do-nothing incumbents. In the end, voters don't seem to care much at all.
